The co-founders are proud to publish WIVI\u2019s interview done by Pipo Serrano and Josep Cun\u00ed, journalists from SER Catalunya, one of the most relevant Spanish radios, on June 4<sup>th<\/sup> of 2019.<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Already based in Barcelona, Bilbao and Berl\u00edn, the startup born in 2016 present WIVI as an outstanding <strong>3D clinical solution<\/strong> based on IA and IBM Watson technology which provides information to the health proffesional to help in triage or identify early signs of a disease or condition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Growing\nat European level has been possible thanks to different sources of funding: from\nco-founders financing, a German venture capital fund, a Spanish company and\nother private investors. They also had received national and international\npublic funding, such as ENISA or SME Instrument phase I from Horizon 2020 of the European Commission and they already have won 30\nawards in 3 years, such as the <a href=\"https:\/\/wivivision.com\/index.php\/2019\/01\/17\/wivi-was-awarded-at-the-eit-health-annual-meeting\/\">Josemi Azkoitia Award from EIT Health<\/a> Headstart or the Best in Show\nPresenting Company at the <a href=\"https:\/\/wivivision.com\/index.php\/2019\/05\/07\/wivi-at-the-28th-medtech-investing-europe-conference-in-lausanne-switzerland\/\">MedTech Investing Europe Conference<\/a> in Lausanne. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to\nthe American Academy of Optometry and British Council, <strong>1 out of 4 of children have severe visual dysfunction which means that\nare<\/strong> <strong>limiting their academic and\nprofessional development<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Prof. Juan Carlos Ondategui-Parra, PhD, co-founder and Optometrist, explains that \u201cWIVI focuses on young children from 5 to 15 years old that are learning to read and they are also starting reading to learn.
